Medical tattoos are precision-based treatments designed to camouflage scars, recreate areolas after mastectomy, mimic natural skin tones, and restore features affected by surgery or trauma. They provide aesthetic improvement but mostly emotional healing.

Day 1 Welcome to Your Oasis
Arrival & Unwind : Arrive at DPS, shuttle to the serene Wapa di Ume Ubud. Settle in, enjoy a welcome drink and afternoon tea.
Evening : Kick off your journey with a delightful Welcome Dinner & Retreat Briefing at the hotel.
Day 2 Master of Color
Morning : Optional yoga, then breakfast
Training : Dive into intensive Areola Reconstruction Tattooing with breaks for coffee and a delicious hotel lunch.
Evening : Relax, followed by dinner at the hotel.
Day 3 Balinese Soul Journey
Morning : Breakfast
Excursion : Experience a full-day Cultural Immersion: traditional Water Blessing at Tirta Empul, iconic Tegalalang Rice Terraces, and a unique Luwak Coffee tasting. Includes lunch.
Evening : Free for personal exploration. dinner in Ubud (self-paid).
Day 4 Areola reconstruction
Morning : Breakfast
Training : dedicated day to Areola reconstruction, mastectomy scar coverups, latex work, cases discussions
We might have a model (living in Bali) that will help us see how we can recreate nipples after a breast lift gone wrong.

Day 5 Coastal Wonders & Sunset Spectacle
Morning : Optional yoga, then breakfast.
Excursion : Explore South Bali beaches, the majestic Uluwatu Temple and witness the captivating Kecak Fire Dance at sunset.
Evening : Savor a delightful Seafood Dinner in Jimbaran Bay.
Day 6 Scar camouflage
Morning : Optional rice paddy trek, then breakfast.
Training : dedicated day to scar camouflage, vitiligo, lifting & mastectomy coverups, latex work, cases discussions
including coffee, breaks, and lunch
Evening : Relax and enjoy dinner at the hotel.
Day 7 Adventure & Serenity
Morning : Optional yoga, then breakfast.
Excursion : Thrilling Mount Batur Sunrise Jeep Tour followed by relaxing in natural hot springs.
Afternoon : Free time to relax; afternoon tea.
Evening : Personal preference; dinner (self-paid).
Day 8 Scar camouflage
Morning : Optional rice paddy trek, then breakfast.
Training : dedicated day to scar camouflage, stretch, marks, latex work, cases discussions
including coffee, breaks, and lunch.
Evening: Celebrate your journey and new skills with a special Farewell Dinner at the hotel.
Day 9 Your Bali, Your Way

What's included in the retreat price?
Your retreat package includes your accommodation, all training sessions, daily lunch and dinner on training days, round-trip airport transfers, cultural excursions, and select guided tours. You will also receive a certificate of participation upon completion.
Please note: On a few occasions — such as free days or evenings following excursions — lunch or dinner is not included, allowing you the flexibility to explore or dine according to your own preferences. These moments are clearly indicated in the schedule.
Do i need to bring my own tattoo equipment?
Yes — please bring your machine, power supply, and preferred setup. Some shared materials (like practice skins, disposable materials, pigments, kwadron cartriges needles) will be provided. We’ll provide a list of required items before the retreat.
Can i get certified for the medical tattoo training?
Yes — you will receive a certificate of participation signed by Rebecca Giannopoulou, outlining the topics covered in areola reconstruction and scar camouflage. However, please check local regulations in your country regarding medical tattoo certification and licensing.
Is my airplane ticket included in the price?
No, airfare is not included in the retreat price. Since participants are joining us from all over the world, you’ll book your own flight to Bali. Once you land, we’ve got you covered — your airport transfers, accommodation, training, meals on training days, and cultural excursions are all included.
We’ll coordinate with each participant individually to arrange smooth airport pickup and arrival logistics. Just share your flight details with us once booked, and we’ll take care of the rest!
Are 4 days enough time to learn medical tattooing?
Four days of immersive training will give you a solid foundation in medical tattooing — including technique, theory, pigment selection, and hands-on practice on synthetic skin (and potentially on a live model). While true mastery takes time and continued experience, this retreat is designed to get you started with clarity and confidence.
Before the retreat, you’ll receive exclusive video lessons to start learning at your own pace. During the retreat in Bali, you’ll have plenty of guided practice sessions and the opportunity to ask questions in real time. After the training, you’ll join a private WhatsApp group for ongoing support, and we’ll also hold follow-up Zoom meetings to continue your education. I’ll personally review your practice work, helping you with client cases step by step. You’ll never feel alone on your learning journey.
